Each piece is unique. Learn more →
Developed within a studio environment shaped by years of shared making and wood firing in India, this ceramic mug reflects a thoughtful balance between form, surface, and everyday use. The low, rounded profile and well-sized handle are wheel-thrown for stability and comfort, allowing the mug to sit naturally in the hand. Warm, golden tones emerge through natural glazing and extended wood firing, where ash movement and flame interaction create gentle shifts rather than a uniform finish. Crafted in stoneware and fired slowly, the mug develops depth and tactility that become more apparent with regular use. Intended for daily tea or coffee, the form offers durability, warmth, and a quiet visual presence suited to everyday rituals.

Process & Craft
Each mug is handmade by master craftspeople using traditional studio pottery methods, beginning with wheel-thrown forms shaped from unique clay mixes prepared in-house. Natural, mineral-rich glazes are applied by hand, drawing from Japanese Mingei and Korean Buncheong influences that guide the studio’s design sensibility. Fired at nearly 1300°C, the stoneware develops remarkable strength and a glaze surface shaped by the dynamic play of fire, ash, and high-temperature reactions inside the kiln. Every piece is quietly distinct — a reflection of the kiln’s temperament, the hands that shaped it, and the experienced designers who curate its final aesthetic.
Sustainability Practices
Made in serene, low-waste pottery studios that prioritize mindful production. All materials used — clays, glazes, oxides — are natural and non-toxic. High-temperature firing ensures long product life, reducing breakage and replacement cycles. Crafted in small batches to support ethical production and minimize overconsumption. Each mug embodies a slow craft philosophy, valuing longevity over mass production.
