Process & Craft
Each vessel is hand-thrown using local mineral-rich Indian clays, then subjected to an arduous 18-hour wood-firing at 1300°C. Utilizing Casuarina wood, the resulting ash creates natural vitreous 'runs' and 'drips' across the surface, a hallmark of the Woodfire Stoneware technique where the kiln’s atmosphere paints the final portrait of the piece.
