Unfolding like a visual story captured in clay, this ceramic plate brings drawing, memory, and surface into a functional form. The gently rounded profile feels calm and balanced, shaped slowly to preserve subtle variations that reveal the hand behind the making. A bold, hand-drawn motif fills the centre like a flowing illustration, its rhythmic lines softened by speckled textures that add depth and movement. Crafted in stoneware and fired at high temperatures, the surface develops a tactile, lived-in quality that balances durability with visual warmth. Designed for serving small meals, desserts, or as a decorative tabletop piece, the plate invites both use and lingering attention, turning everyday dining into a moment of quiet engagement.

Process & Craft
Each plate is handmade by master craftspeople using traditional studio pottery methods, beginning with wheel-thrown forms shaped from unique clay mixes prepared in-house. Natural, mineral-rich glazes are applied by hand, drawing from Japanese Mingei and Korean Buncheong influences that guide the studio’s design sensibility. Fired at nearly 1300°C, the stoneware develops remarkable strength and a glaze surface shaped by the dynamic play of fire, ash, and high-temperature reactions inside the kiln. Every piece is quietly distinct — a reflection of the kiln’s temperament, the hands that shaped it, and the experienced designers who curate its final aesthetic.
Sustainability Practices
Made in serene, low-waste pottery studios that prioritize mindful production. All materials used — clays, glazes, oxides — are natural and non-toxic. High-temperature firing ensures long product life, reducing breakage and replacement cycles. Crafted in small batches to support ethical production and minimize overconsumption. Each mug embodies a slow craft philosophy, valuing longevity over mass production.
