Belonging to the SAHA collection, this tea set finds its spirit in the strength of coming together. Its silhouette pays homage to the grounded stability of the Indian Kalash, married with the refined proportions of classical tea-ware, designed specifically for the enduring rituals of the Indian family table.

The surface is a celestial landscape of deepest obsidian, punctuated by a shimmering spray of golden-tan speckles that evoke the 'Stardust' of a clear midnight sky. These marks are the signatures of the flame, where the atmospheric dance of the kiln has transformed mineral and clay into a textured, nocturnal tapestry.

In the hands, the stoneware carries a gentle, earthy weight that encourages a slower pace. The tactile contrast between the cool, vitrified glaze and the natural warmth of the cane handle creates a sensory bridge between the elemental world and the intimate ritual of sharing a quiet infusion.

Process & Craft

Hand-formed from iron-rich local Indian clays, this set was subjected to a rigorous 16–20 hour wood-firing at 1300°C. The unique visual depth is achieved through the introduction of Casuarina wood ash during the peak of firing; as the ash melts and fuses with the glaze, it creates natural 'runs' and 'stardust' patterns that render each piece an irreproducible record of the fire's path.
