The broad base and neatly proportioned lid are wheel-thrown with clarity, allowing the form to sit securely while opening and closing with ease. Warm amber and earthy brown tones develop through natural glazing and extended wood firing, where ash movement and kiln atmosphere create soft banding and depth across the surface. Crafted in stoneware and fired patiently, the container gains a tactile richness shaped by flame and time rather than controlled finish. Intended for storing tea, spices, or small everyday essentials, the form brings quiet order, durability, and a grounded presence to the table or shelf.

Process & Craft
Each Lidded Container is handmade by master craftspeople using traditional studio pottery methods, beginning with wheel-thrown forms shaped from unique clay mixes prepared in-house. Natural, mineral-rich glazes are applied by hand, drawing from Japanese Mingei and Korean Buncheong influences that guide the studio’s design sensibility. Fired at nearly 1300°C, the stoneware develops remarkable strength and a glaze surface shaped by the dynamic play of fire, ash, and high-temperature reactions inside the kiln. Every piece is quietly distinct — a reflection of the kiln’s temperament, the hands that shaped it, and the experienced designers who curate its final aesthetic.
