Exploring tension between control and chance, this ceramic bottle form draws its character from the expressive nature of Raku firing. The tall, pared-down silhouette feels architectural and deliberate, shaped slowly by hand to retain subtle shifts in line and proportion. A bold interplay of smoky whites and deep charcoal blacks cuts across the surface like a quiet horizon, reflecting a painterly approach where clay becomes a site for mark-making and memory. Crafted in stoneware and Raku-fired, the surface is shaped by rapid heat, open air, and reduction, resulting in natural crackles, soft smoke veils, and unpredictable tonal transitions that cannot be replicated. Designed to function as a sculptural vessel or a strong visual accent, the form brings contrast, rhythm, and a sense of raw presence into contemporary interiors.
Raku ceramics are delicate, porous, and made primarily for decorative use.

Process & Craft
Each bottle is handmade by master craftspeople using traditional studio pottery methods, beginning with wheel-thrown forms shaped from unique clay mixes prepared in-house. Natural, mineral-rich glazes are applied by hand, drawing from Japanese Mingei and Korean Buncheong influences that guide the studio’s design sensibility. Fired at nearly 1300°C, the stoneware develops remarkable strength and a glaze surface shaped by the dynamic play of fire, ash, and high-temperature reactions inside the kiln. Every piece is quietly distinct — a reflection of the kiln’s temperament, the hands that shaped it, and the experienced designers who curate its final aesthetic.
Sustainability Practices
Made in serene, low-waste pottery studios that prioritize mindful production. All materials used — clays, glazes, oxides — are natural and non-toxic. High-temperature firing ensures long product life, reducing breakage and replacement cycles. Crafted in small batches to support ethical production and minimize overconsumption. Each mug embodies a slow craft philosophy, valuing longevity over mass production.
