The vessel features a wide, low-slung belly that tapers into a crisp, angled lower gallery, gracefully counterweighted by a classic upward-sweeping spout and an elegantly looped side handle that sits naturally in the hand for a controlled, rhythmic pour.
The exterior showcases a striking composition of minimalist line work and soft washes. A smooth, satin off-white glaze flows across the entire body and matching lid, dotted with fine iron specks inherent to the raw clay body. The front of the pot serves as a canvas for an abstract, hand-painted landscape motif featuring fluid sweeps of slate blue layered underneath a stamped, dark iron medallion filled with fine geometric linework. An exposed, thin iron-brown rim subtly highlights the lid line, separating the creamy glazed surfaces and celebrating the organic touch of the studio artisan.

Process & Craft
Conceived as a dialogue between graphic abstraction and classic pottery, this teapot is individually wheel-thrown using local Indian stoneware clay before the spout and side handle are seamlessly luted on by hand. The structural form is subjected to an initial vitrification cycle inside a wood-fired kiln, enduring a grueling 20 hours at 1300°C. Once cooled, the white slip canvas is layered with a sequence of hand-brushed cerulean washes and a precise iron-oxide inlay stamp. The teapot is then return-fired to fully fuse the multi-layered mineral glazes into the vitrified body, producing a completely original, unrepeatable kitchen heirloom.
