A cornerstone of our SAHA collection, this tea service honors the quiet strength of communal rituals. Its silhouette is a thoughtful dialogue between the generous, rounded forms of Indian earthen heritage and the refined, functional minimalism of Japanese pottery traditions, designed to be passed between hands for generations.
The surface serves as a canvas for nature’s most quiet hour; a singular indigo stroke evokes the silhouette of a distant ridge at twilight, while the deep, dark accents ground the form like shadows lengthening across a forest floor. The speckled, cream-toned body, kissed by the unpredictable path of wood ash, mirrors the organic texture of river stones worn smooth by time.
To hold these pieces is to embrace the philosophy of slow living. The substantial weight of the stoneware and the tactile contrast between the smooth glaze and the raw, unhurried marks of the maker invite a meditative pause, turning the simple act of pouring tea into a soulful ritual of presence and intimacy.

Process & Craft
Each vessel is meticulously hand-thrown using a blend of local Indian stoneware clays, chosen for their resilience and depth. The set undergoes an arduous 20-hour wood-firing process reaching 1300°C. During this time, the combustion of Casuarina wood creates a volatile atmosphere where falling ash melts into a natural glaze, resulting in the unique 'runs' and 'drips' that ensure no two pieces from the kiln are ever identical.
