Belonging to the SAHA collection, these vessels celebrate the quiet power of gathering. Their rooted, cylindrical silhouette draws inspiration from the timeless Japanese yunomi while honoring the Indian tradition of communal rituals, where the strength of the collective is held within the palm of the hand.
The surface is a canvas of atmospheric poetry. Deep, charcoal brushstrokes flow like Nocturne shadows against a sun-bleached landscape of cream and sand. These vertical marks, reminiscent of ink bleeding into ancient parchment, are punctuated by mineral speckles that mirror a star-strewn sky over a river stone bed.
To cradle these cups is to engage in a tactile meditation. The contrast between the raw, earthen interior and the smooth, storied exterior invites an unhurried pace. They are designed for the ritual of slow living, transforming a simple shared brew into an intimate dialogue between the senses and the soul.

Process & Craft
Each piece is hand-thrown using locally sourced Indian stoneware clays, rich in mineral character. The vessels undergo a transformative 16–20 hour wood-firing process at 1300°C. During this intense heat, Casuarina wood ash circulates through the kiln, landing on the clay to create natural glaze 'runs' and 'drips' that are entirely unique to the fire's path, ensuring that every cup remains a one-of-a-kind heirloom.
