Opening gently into a shallow, elongated form, this ceramic dish reflects a studio practice shaped by years of wood firing and attentive making in India. The softly curved profile is wheel-thrown with restraint, allowing subtle variations along the rim to remain as quiet traces of hand and process. Warm amber and ochre tones emerge through natural glazing and extended wood firing, where ash movement and kiln atmosphere create layered depth and soft banding across the surface. Crafted in stoneware and fired patiently, the dish develops a tactile richness shaped by flame and time. Intended for serving small bites, condiments, or as a resting place for everyday objects, the form brings warmth, balance, and a calm visual presence to the table or shelf.

Process & Craft
Each dish is handmade by master craftspeople using traditional studio pottery methods, beginning with wheel-thrown forms shaped from unique clay mixes prepared in-house. Natural, mineral-rich glazes are applied by hand, drawing from Japanese Mingei and Korean Buncheong influences that guide the studio’s design sensibility. Fired at nearly 1300°C, the stoneware develops remarkable strength and a glaze surface shaped by the dynamic play of fire, ash, and high-temperature reactions inside the kiln. Every piece is quietly distinct — a reflection of the kiln’s temperament, the hands that shaped it, and the experienced designers who curate its final aesthetic.
Sustainability Practices
Made in serene, low-waste pottery studios that prioritize mindful production. All materials used — clays, glazes, oxides — are natural and non-toxic. High-temperature firing ensures long product life, reducing breakage and replacement cycles. Crafted in small batches to support ethical production and minimize overconsumption. Each mug embodies a slow craft philosophy, valuing longevity over mass production.
