Shaped by the quiet dialogue between tradition and contemporary expression, this ceramic bowl form carries the spirit of India’s utilitarian pottery into a tactile, modern language. The softly undulating rim and rounded body preserve the memory of slow hand-shaping, where movement and touch remain visible in every curve. Deep, earthy tones flow across the surface, interrupted by natural vertical rivulets that echo the path of rain, soil, and time. Crafted in stoneware and wood-fired, the form is transformed by flame, ash, and kiln atmosphere, creating layered depth, natural flashes, and markings that can never be repeated. Designed for tea rituals, small servings, or contemplative pauses, the bowl invites warmth, presence, and connection—resting gently between craft, art, and everyday living.

Process & Craft
Each bowl is handmade by master craftspeople using traditional studio pottery methods, beginning with wheel-thrown forms shaped from unique clay mixes prepared in-house. Natural, mineral-rich glazes are applied by hand, drawing from Japanese Mingei and Korean Buncheong influences that guide the studio’s design sensibility. Fired at nearly 1300°C, the stoneware develops remarkable strength and a glaze surface shaped by the dynamic play of fire, ash, and high-temperature reactions inside the kiln. Every piece is quietly distinct — a reflection of the kiln’s temperament, the hands that shaped it, and the experienced designers who curate its final aesthetic.
Sustainability Practices
Made in serene, low-waste pottery studios that prioritize mindful production. All materials used — clays, glazes, oxides — are natural and non-toxic. High-temperature firing ensures long product life, reducing breakage and replacement cycles. Crafted in small batches to support ethical production and minimize overconsumption. Each mug embodies a slow craft philosophy, valuing longevity over mass production.
