Process & Craft
Each piece is hand-formed from a signature blend of local Indian stoneware clays, chosen for their mineral richness and integrity. The set is subjected to a transformative 16–20 hour firing in a traditional wood kiln, reaching temperatures of 1300°C. Using Casuarina wood, the resulting fly-ash interacts with the clay body in the heat of the chamber, depositing unique textures and deep, earthy vitrification that ensure no two pieces are ever identical.
