Part of the SAHA collection, this tea set celebrates the profound strength found in shared moments and the quiet intimacy of communal life. Its silhouette honors the geometric balance of Japanese teaware while retaining the soulful, grounded weight characteristic of traditional Indian vessel-making.
The surface is a rhythmic interplay of shadow and light, reminiscent of a forest floor at dusk. The deep mossy greens and earthy umber tones mirror the slow growth of lichen upon weathered stone, a testament to the unpredictable beauty of the flame as it dances across the clay.
To hold these pieces is to engage in a ritual of slow living. The tactile ridges left by the potter’s hand invite a meditative touch, transforming the simple act of pouring tea into a grounded experience of presence and togetherness.

Process & Craft
Each vessel is hand-thrown using locally sourced Indian stoneware clays, chosen for their resilience and mineral depth. The set undergoes a grueling 20-hour wood-firing at 1300°C, where Casuarina wood ash is introduced to the kiln. This ash vaporizes and settles onto the pieces, melting into a natural glaze that creates unique 'runs' and 'drips,' ensuring that no two sets ever emerge the same from the heat.
