Confronting surface, shadow, and transformation, this ceramic bottle form draws its strength from the unpredictable nature of Raku firing. The tall, cylindrical silhouette feels grounded and architectural, shaped slowly by hand to preserve subtle shifts in proportion and edge. Dark, layered tones wrap the surface like a quiet nightscape, interrupted by textured markings that echo fragments of walls, windows, and remembered structures. Crafted in stoneware and Raku-fired, the surface is shaped by rapid heat, smoke, and reduction, creating crackled skins, softened contrasts, and unrepeatable tonal breaks shaped by fire rather than design. Designed to function as a sculptural vessel or a striking visual anchor on shelves and consoles, the form introduces depth, weight, and quiet intensity into contemporary interiors.
Raku ceramics are delicate, porous, and made primarily for decorative use.

Process & Craft
Each bottle is handmade by master craftspeople using traditional studio pottery methods, beginning with wheel-thrown forms shaped from unique clay mixes prepared in-house. Natural, mineral-rich glazes are applied by hand, drawing from Japanese Mingei and Korean Buncheong influences that guide the studio’s design sensibility. Fired at nearly 1300°C, the stoneware develops remarkable strength and a glaze surface shaped by the dynamic play of fire, ash, and high-temperature reactions inside the kiln. Every piece is quietly distinct — a reflection of the kiln’s temperament, the hands that shaped it, and the experienced designers who curate its final aesthetic.
Sustainability Practices
Made in serene, low-waste pottery studios that prioritize mindful production. All materials used — clays, glazes, oxides — are natural and non-toxic. High-temperature firing ensures long product life, reducing breakage and replacement cycles. Crafted in small batches to support ethical production and minimize overconsumption. Each mug embodies a slow craft philosophy, valuing longevity over mass production.
