Anchored in India’s long tradition of functional pottery, this ceramic teapot form evolves through a contemporary and universal design language. The tiered body and confident silhouette recall everyday vessels once shaped for shared moments and daily rituals, now reimagined with a bold, sculptural presence. A deep, lustrous surface wraps the form like a quiet night sky, carrying subtle shifts in tone that reveal the hand of fire and time. Crafted in stoneware and wood-fired, the surface is shaped by flame, ash, and kiln atmosphere, creating natural depth, soft movement, and unrepeatable character. Designed for use as a functional teapot or as a contemplative object, the form brings warmth, weight, and grounded stillness into contemporary spaces—resting gently between craft, art, and everyday living.

Process & Craft

Each kettle is handmade by master craftspeople using traditional studio pottery methods, beginning with wheel-thrown forms shaped from unique clay mixes prepared in-house. Natural, mineral-rich glazes are applied by hand, drawing from Japanese Mingei and Korean Buncheong influences that guide the studio’s design sensibility. Fired at nearly 1300°C, the stoneware develops remarkable strength and a glaze surface shaped by the dynamic play of fire, ash, and high-temperature reactions inside the kiln. Every piece is quietly distinct — a reflection of the kiln’s temperament, the hands that shaped it, and the experienced designers who curate its final aesthetic.

Sustainability Practices

Made in serene, low-waste pottery studios that prioritize mindful production. All materials used — clays, glazes, oxides — are natural and non-toxic. High-temperature firing ensures long product life, reducing breakage and replacement cycles. Crafted in small batches to support ethical production and minimize overconsumption. Each mug embodies a slow craft philosophy, valuing longevity over mass production.
