Emerging from a deep engagement with India’s utilitarian pottery traditions, this ceramic teapot form bridges memory, function, and contemporary expression. The gently sloped body and extended spout echo everyday vessels once shaped for shared rural rituals, now reimagined with a quiet, sculptural presence. Process & Craft
Each kettle is handmade by master craftspeople using traditional studio pottery methods, beginning with wheel-thrown forms shaped from unique clay mixes prepared in-house. Natural, mineral-rich glazes are applied by hand, drawing from Japanese Mingei and Korean Buncheong influences that guide the studio’s design sensibility. Fired at nearly 1300°C, the stoneware develops remarkable strength and a glaze surface shaped by the dynamic play of fire, ash, and high-temperature reactions inside the kiln. Every piece is quietly distinct — a reflection of the kiln’s temperament, the hands that shaped it, and the experienced designers who curate its final aesthetic.
