The SAHA collection celebrates the quiet strength of coming together. This tea service, with its generous teapot and four companion mugs, finds its silhouette in the intersection of Indian hospitality and the minimalist discipline of Japanese stoneware. It is an ensemble designed for the slow unraveling of conversation and the shared warmth of a gathering.

The exterior is a landscape of Moss and Lichen, where the Casuarina wood ash has settled in a variegated olive glaze. Inside, a hidden warmth awaits—a deep, molten red reminiscent of a Solstice horizon or dying embers. This duality creates a profound visual dialogue between the cool exterior of the earth and the vibrant heat of the internal hearth.

To hold these vessels is to feel the weight of intention. The tactile variation across the surface invites a meditative touch, transforming the simple act of pouring tea into a ritual of presence. It is an heirloom-worthy set for those who find beauty in the slight variations born of the flame and the grace of slow living.

Process & Craft

Each piece is wheel-thrown using stoneware clay sourced from local Indian mineral deposits. The set undergoes a grueling 20-hour wood-firing process at 1300°C. During this time, Casuarina wood ash is carried by the draft of the kiln, landing on the glowing surfaces to melt into natural 'runs' and 'drips'. This interaction between fire, ash, and minerals ensures that while the set is unified, every piece possesses a unique, unrepeatable soul.
