Developed within a studio practice shaped by decades of wood firing and functional making in India, this ceramic teapot reflects an approach where form, surface, and daily use are refined through long experience. The rounded body, gently angled spout, and arched bamboo handle are proportioned for balance and controlled pouring, allowing the teapot to feel steady and confident in the hand. Warm, iron-rich browns are punctuated by soft, kiln-marked highlights that emerge through natural glazing and extended wood firing, where ash movement and flame subtly shape the surface. Crafted in stoneware and fired patiently, the teapot carries depth and quiet variation that reveal the rhythm of repeated making and careful kiln work. Intended for everyday tea brewing and shared table rituals, the form offers durability, heat retention, and a grounded presence suited to regular use.

Process & Craft
Each teapot is handmade by master craftspeople using traditional studio pottery methods, beginning with wheel-thrown forms shaped from unique clay mixes prepared in-house. Natural, mineral-rich glazes are applied by hand, drawing from Japanese Mingei and Korean Buncheong influences that guide the studio’s design sensibility. Fired at nearly 1300°C, the stoneware develops remarkable strength and a glaze surface shaped by the dynamic play of fire, ash, and high-temperature reactions inside the kiln. Every piece is quietly distinct — a reflection of the kiln’s temperament, the hands that shaped it, and the experienced designers who curate its final aesthetic.
