Process & Craft
Each piece begins with locally sourced Indian stoneware clays, hand-thrown and then surrendered to the elemental fury of a wood-fired kiln. For 20 hours, the vessels endure temperatures reaching 1300°C fueled by Casuarina wood. The wood ash vaporizes and settles onto the clay surface, creating natural 'runs' and 'drips' dictated by the flame’s path—a signature of nature that no machine can replicate.
