Hand-thrown using mineral-rich Indian stoneware clays, this mug underwent a rigorous 20-hour wood-firing at 1300°C. During the peak of the firing, Casuarina wood ash is drawn through the kiln by the flame, reacting with the glaze to create the unique tonal variations and natural 'runs' that define true artisanal stoneware.
