Rising with a confident rhythm shaped by hand and fire, this ceramic vase reflects a studio practice developed through years of wood firing and sustained making in India. The flared upper form and rounded base are wheel-thrown with control and repetition, allowing the banded surface to remain expressive while maintaining balance and stability. Warm amber and deep brown tones wrap the body through natural glazing and extended wood firing, where ash movement and kiln atmosphere accentuate the textured rings and create layered depth. Crafted in stoneware and fired patiently, the surface carries a strong tactile presence shaped by flame and time rather than uniform finish. Intended to hold tall stems or to stand as a sculptural focal point, the form brings movement, warmth, and a grounded vertical presence to interior spaces.

Process & Craft
Each vase is handmade by master craftspeople using traditional studio pottery methods, beginning with wheel-thrown forms shaped from unique clay mixes prepared in-house. Natural, mineral-rich glazes are applied by hand, drawing from Japanese Mingei and Korean Buncheong influences that guide the studio’s design sensibility. Fired at nearly 1300°C, the stoneware develops remarkable strength and a glaze surface shaped by the dynamic play of fire, ash, and high-temperature reactions inside the kiln. Every piece is quietly distinct — a reflection of the kiln’s temperament, the hands that shaped it, and the experienced designers who curate its final aesthetic.
Sustainability Practices
Made in serene, low-waste pottery studios that prioritize mindful production. All materials used — clays, glazes, oxides — are natural and non-toxic. High-temperature firing ensures long product life, reducing breakage and replacement cycles. Crafted in small batches to support ethical production and minimize overconsumption. Each mug embodies a slow craft philosophy, valuing longevity over mass production.
