Balancing memory, movement, and contemporary expression, this tall ceramic form draws from India’s ancient vessel traditions while speaking in a modern, universal design language. The elongated silhouette feels sculptural yet grounded, inspired by rural storage forms that once held water, grain, and stories of everyday life. Hand-painted indigo motifs rise gently across the pale upper surface like drifting impressions, shaped by a painterly sensibility where clay becomes both canvas and structure. Crafted in stoneware and wood-fired, the surface is transformed by flame, ash, and kiln atmosphere, creating soft flashes, natural tonal shifts, and textures that make each piece quietly unique. Designed to be styled as a decorative vessel, for dried botanicals, or as a standalone sculptural accent, the form adds height, rhythm, and calm presence to shelves, consoles, and curated corners. Created to photograph beautifully and live effortlessly in modern spaces, it rests gently between craft, art, and everyday living.

Process & Craft

Each vase is handmade by master craftspeople using traditional studio pottery methods, beginning with wheel-thrown forms shaped from unique clay mixes prepared in-house. Natural, mineral-rich glazes are applied by hand, drawing from Japanese Mingei and Korean Buncheong influences that guide the studio’s design sensibility. Fired at nearly 1300°C, the stoneware develops remarkable strength and a glaze surface shaped by the dynamic play of fire, ash, and high-temperature reactions inside the kiln. Every piece is quietly distinct — a reflection of the kiln’s temperament, the hands that shaped it, and the experienced designers who curate its final aesthetic.

Sustainability Practices

Made in serene, low-waste pottery studios that prioritize mindful production. All materials used — clays, glazes, oxides — are natural and non-toxic. High-temperature firing ensures long product life, reducing breakage and replacement cycles. Crafted in small batches to support ethical production and minimize overconsumption. Each mug embodies a slow craft philosophy, valuing longevity over mass production.
