Rooted in the SAHA collection, this tea set honors the timeless Indian ritual of gathering. Its silhouette, featuring a gracefully arched bamboo handle, bridges the gap between the ancestral lota and the meditative Japanese aesthetic, celebrating the strength found in shared moments.

The surface is a living canvas of natural phenomena; deep indigo washes collide with creamy, ash-flecked glazes, reminiscent of a river current cutting through the early morning mist. The toasted earth tones of the saucers anchor the set, echoing the raw beauty of a sun-warmed riverbed.

To hold these pieces is to embrace the stillness of the present. The tactile contrast between the smooth ceramic, the textured glaze, and the organic cane handle invites a slow, intentional pouring, transforming a daily beverage into a soulful communal meditation.

Process & Craft

Hand-thrown using local Indian stoneware clays, this set is subjected to a transformative 20-hour wood-firing at 1300°C. The Casuarina wood ash melts into a unique fly-ash glaze, creating unpredictable runs and toasted textures that only the kiln’s breath can dictate, ensuring no two pieces ever share the same soul.
