This ceramic form emerges from a deep engagement with India’s ancient vessel traditions, reimagined through a contemporary, universal lens. Its tall, grounded silhouette echoes rural storage containers once shaped for everyday life, now transformed into a quiet sculptural presence. The layered blue surface carries the artist’s painterly sensibility—where brush-like transitions, tonal shifts, and spontaneous markings become part of the clay’s visual language. Each piece holds traces of travel, memory, and lived experience, expressed through abstract surfaces rather than literal motifs. Fired at high temperatures, the form develops depth, texture, and natural variation, making every object distinct. Designed to function as a decorative vessel, for dried stems, or as a standalone art object, it brings stillness, character, and thoughtful presence into contemporary spaces—bridging craft, art, and everyday living.

Process & Craft

Each bottle is handmade by master craftspeople using traditional studio pottery methods, beginning with wheel-thrown forms shaped from unique clay mixes prepared in-house. Natural, mineral-rich glazes are applied by hand, drawing from Japanese Mingei and Korean Buncheong influences that guide the studio’s design sensibility. Fired at nearly 1300°C, the stoneware develops remarkable strength and a glaze surface shaped by the dynamic play of fire, ash, and high-temperature reactions inside the kiln. Every piece is quietly distinct — a reflection of the kiln’s temperament, the hands that shaped it, and the experienced designers who curate its final aesthetic.

Sustainability Practices

Made in serene, low-waste pottery studios that prioritize mindful production. All materials used — clays, glazes, oxides — are natural and non-toxic. High-temperature firing ensures long product life, reducing breakage and replacement cycles. Crafted in small batches to support ethical production and minimize overconsumption. Each mug embodies a slow craft philosophy, valuing longevity over mass production.
