Each piece is hand-thrown using iron-rich local Indian stoneware clays and minerals. The vessel undergoes a rigorous 16–20 hour woodfire stoneware firing technique in a traditional kiln, reaching temperatures of 1300°C. During this intense transformation, Casuarina wood ash is carried by the flame to melt onto the clay's surface, interacting with the raw clay accents visible on the Helios Beer Mug to create a natural, glass-like patina.
