The Golden Thicket set, part of our SAHA collection, honors the sacred geography of the Indian family table. Each vessel’s silhouette is a bridge between the functional grace of Japanese tea tradition and the generous spirit of communal Indian heritage, designed to be passed from hand to hand as a vessel of shared stories.
The glaze acts as a landscape of the kiln’s internal weather, where deep forest greens bleed into toasted ambers. These textured surfaces mirror the complex beauty of lichen clinging to ancient bark or the way sunlight filters through a dense canopy to touch the forest floor at dusk.

Process & Craft
Each piece is hand-thrown using locally sourced Indian stoneware clays, infused with mineral-rich sediments. The collection is born from an intense 20-hour wood-firing process in our traditional kiln, reaching temperatures of 1300°C. We use Casuarina wood ash, which interacts with the flame to create natural, unrepeatable 'runs' and 'drips', ensuring that no two pieces are ever identical.
