Born from the SAHA collection, this tea set is a poetic ode to the quiet strength of togetherness. Its silhouette serves as a dialogue between the grounded, bulbous forms of Indian heritage and the poised grace of traditional tea rituals, inviting a deliberate pause in the rush of modern life.

The surface is a canvas of natural phenomena, where the speckled blue-grey glaze mimics the resilient frosted texture clinging to ancient river stones. Dark, iron-rich edges and a deep ochre lid evoke the damp earth at dusk, a testament to the unpredictable dance between flame and mineral within the wood kiln.

To hold these pieces is to embrace the weight of time. The natural cane handle offers a warm, tactile counterpoint to the cool stoneware, transforming the simple act of pouring into a meditative ritual of slow living and shared intimacy.

Process & Craft

Each vessel is hand-thrown using locally sourced Indian stoneware clays, chosen for their resilience and mineral depth. The set undergoes a grueling 20-hour wood-firing at 1300°C, where Casuarina wood ash is introduced to the kiln. This ash vaporizes and settles onto the pieces, melting into a natural glaze that creates unique 'runs' and 'drips,' ensuring that no two sets ever emerge the same from the heat.
