Process & Craft
Each piece is hand-thrown using locally sourced Indian stoneware clays and fired in a traditional wood kiln for 20 hours. Reaching temperatures of 1300°C, the kiln is fed with Casuarina wood; the resulting ash vaporizes and settles onto the clay, melting into a natural glaze. This artisanal process ensures that no two pieces are identical, as the 'runs' and 'drips' are choreographed by the fire itself.
