This handcrafted mug celebrates the quiet beauty of traditional studio pottery, shaped through techniques rooted in South India’s ceramic heritage. Thrown on the potter’s wheel, its tall, tapering form carries soft ridges and a gentle flow that reveal the movement of the maker’s hands. The warm ivory glaze feels calm and earthy, while the hand-carved leaf motif adds a simple, organic charm—like a small symbol of nature held within the clay. Deep brown accents around the rim and handle create a grounded contrast, giving the mug a rustic yet refined character. Fired at high temperatures, it develops natural speckles and subtle variations that make every piece unique. Perfect for your daily chai, coffee, or slow evening tea, this mug turns ordinary moments into warm, mindful pauses

Process & Craft
Each mug is handmade by master craftspeople using traditional studio pottery methods, beginning with wheel-thrown forms shaped from unique clay mixes prepared in-house. Natural, mineral-rich glazes are applied by hand, drawing from Japanese Mingei and Korean Buncheong influences that guide the studio’s design sensibility. Fired at nearly 1300°C, the stoneware develops remarkable strength and a glaze surface shaped by the dynamic play of fire, ash, and high-temperature reactions inside the kiln. Every piece is quietly distinct — a reflection of the kiln’s temperament, the hands that shaped it, and the experienced designers who curate its final aesthetic.
Sustainability Practices
Made in serene, low-waste pottery studios that prioritize mindful production. All materials used — clays, glazes, oxides — are natural and non-toxic. High-temperature firing ensures long product life, reducing breakage and replacement cycles. Crafted in small batches to support ethical production and minimize overconsumption. Each mug embodies a slow craft philosophy, valuing longevity over mass production.
