Framing everyday food through line, texture, and quiet geometry, this ceramic plate brings drawing and surface into functional form. The softly rounded profile feels balanced and grounded, shaped slowly to retain subtle irregularities that speak of hand and process. A graphic, hand-drawn motif sits at the centre like a visual anchor, echoed by fine speckling across the surface that adds depth and movement. Crafted in stoneware and fired at high temperatures, the plate develops a calm, tactile finish that works effortlessly across daily use and special settings. Designed for serving small meals, desserts, or as a layered tabletop element, the plate adds structure, contrast, and a thoughtful visual rhythm to contemporary dining.

Process & Craft

Each plate is handmade by master craftspeople using traditional studio pottery methods, beginning with wheel-thrown forms shaped from unique clay mixes prepared in-house. Natural, mineral-rich glazes are applied by hand, drawing from Japanese Mingei and Korean Buncheong influences that guide the studio’s design sensibility. Fired at nearly 1300°C, the stoneware develops remarkable strength and a glaze surface shaped by the dynamic play of fire, ash, and high-temperature reactions inside the kiln. Every piece is quietly distinct — a reflection of the kiln’s temperament, the hands that shaped it, and the experienced designers who curate its final aesthetic.

Sustainability Practices

Made in serene, low-waste pottery studios that prioritize mindful production. All materials used — clays, glazes, oxides — are natural and non-toxic. High-temperature firing ensures long product life, reducing breakage and replacement cycles. Crafted in small batches to support ethical production and minimize overconsumption. Each mug embodies a slow craft philosophy, valuing longevity over mass production.
