The raw, single-handled vessel undergoes a demanding 20-hour vitrification cycle inside a high-temperature wood kiln reaching 1300°C to secure a highly resilient, non-porous foundation. Once cooled, the exterior is dipped in a custom dark green mineral glaze formula, allowing the intense reduction environment of the final firing to produce subtle shifts and misty, moss-like gradients across the ceramic shoulders. This careful multi-phase journey guarantees that each individual jug carries its own distinct, unrepeatable surface personality.
