Each piece is unique. Learn more →
Developed within a studio practice shaped by decades of wood firing and functional making in India, this ceramic teapot reflects an approach where restraint, balance, and daily use guide the form. The gently rounded body, softly angled spout, and well-proportioned handle are wheel-thrown for steady pouring and comfortable handling, allowing the teapot to feel calm and familiar in use. A pale, milky glaze settles quietly across the surface through natural glazing and long wood firing, where ash and kiln atmosphere introduce subtle depth rather than overt variation. Crafted in stoneware and fired patiently, the teapot carries a soft tactility that reveals itself through repeated handling. Intended for everyday tea brewing and shared table moments, the form offers durability, heat retention, and a composed presence suited to regular use.

Process & Craft
Each teapot is handmade by master craftspeople using traditional studio pottery methods, beginning with wheel-thrown forms shaped from unique clay mixes prepared in-house. Natural, mineral-rich glazes are applied by hand, drawing from Japanese Mingei and Korean Buncheong influences that guide the studio’s design sensibility. Fired at nearly 1300°C, the stoneware develops remarkable strength and a glaze surface shaped by the dynamic play of fire, ash, and high-temperature reactions inside the kiln. Every piece is quietly distinct — a reflection of the kiln’s temperament, the hands that shaped it, and the experienced designers who curate its final aesthetic.
Sustainability Practices
Made in serene, low-waste pottery studios that prioritize mindful production. All materials used — clays, glazes, oxides — are natural and non-toxic. High-temperature firing ensures long product life, reducing breakage and replacement cycles. Crafted in small batches to support ethical production and minimize overconsumption. Each mug embodies a slow craft philosophy, valuing longevity over mass production.
