Standing tall with quiet restraint, this ceramic vessel reflects a studio practice shaped by years of wood firing and sustained making in India. The slender cylindrical form is wheel-thrown with precision and patience, allowing subtle variations in line and surface to remain as evidence of hand and process. Warm amber tones rise along the body through natural glazing and extended wood firing, where ash movement and kiln atmosphere introduce gentle depth and tonal shifts. Crafted in stoneware and fired patiently, the surface develops a tactile richness shaped by flame and time rather than uniform finish. Intended to hold dried stems, brushes, or to stand as a sculptural accent, the form brings vertical clarity, warmth, and a composed presence to interior space.

Process & Craft

Each vessel is handmade by master craftspeople using traditional studio pottery methods, beginning with wheel-thrown forms shaped from unique clay mixes prepared in-house. Natural, mineral-rich glazes are applied by hand, drawing from Japanese Mingei and Korean Buncheong influences that guide the studio’s design sensibility. Fired at nearly 1300°C, the stoneware develops remarkable strength and a glaze surface shaped by the dynamic play of fire, ash, and high-temperature reactions inside the kiln. Every piece is quietly distinct — a reflection of the kiln’s temperament, the hands that shaped it, and the experienced designers who curate its final aesthetic.

Sustainability Practices

Made in serene, low-waste pottery studios that prioritize mindful production. All materials used — clays, glazes, oxides — are natural and non-toxic. High-temperature firing ensures long product life, reducing breakage and replacement cycles. Crafted in small batches to support ethical production and minimize overconsumption. Each mug embodies a slow craft philosophy, valuing longevity over mass production.
