Breaking away from conventional round silhouettes, this striking piece from our Adwai collection redefines classic tea service with a bold, contemporary structure. The vessel is anchored by a stout, gently faceted lower body that effortlessly meets a clean, straight spout engineered for a sharp, dripless pour. Adding a stunning vertical dimension, a high overhead handle of hand-bent rattan is bound to the ceramic frame with traditional fiber lashings, offering an organic, comfortable grip that stays entirely cool to the touch.
The surface of the pot serves as a quiet canvas for structured, modern minimalism. A smooth, pale off-white glaze flows seamlessly across the shoulders and the matching lid, highlighted by fine, natural iron speckles emerging from the raw clay. The lower faceted walls provide individual panels for hand-painted abstract motifs reminiscent of rising crests or stylized blue fins. Each geometric element features a soft wash of slate-indigo gradients that are edged with a dark iron glaze, pooling organically near the base to accentuate the teapot's physical rhythm.
Built with a substantial, thick-walled stoneware construction, this pot provides superior heat retention to keep your favorite blends warm throughout long conversations. The perfect equilibrium between the weighted stoneware, the geometric planes, and the woven handle turns the simple act of serving into an intentional, highly satisfying ritual.

Process & Craft
Rooted in a dedication to geometric symmetry and raw elements, the journey of this teapot begins on the wheel before the leather-hard stoneware clay is carefully planed by hand to create its faceted lower walls. After the spout and integrated ceramic loops are attached, the vitrified vessel undergoes a grueling 20-hour wood-firing at 1300°C. Following the initial fire, an artisan meticulously hand-paints each arched panel with a localized indigo wash and iron slip before the glaze firing. The final layer of completion rests with master weavers, who custom steam-bend and bind the seasoned rattan handle directly through the fired loops, creating an unrepeatable harmony of multi-medium craft.
Sustainability Practices
Made in serene, low-waste pottery studios that prioritize mindful production. All materials used — clays, glazes, oxides — are natural and non-toxic. High-temperature firing ensures long product life, reducing breakage and replacement cycles. Crafted in small batches to support ethical production and minimize overconsumption. Each mug embodies a slow craft philosophy, valuing longevity over mass production.
