Each piece is unique. Learn more →
Carrying quiet gesture and everyday utility within a compact form, this ceramic cup reflects a studio practice shaped by years of wood firing and attentive making in India. The straight-sided profile is wheel-thrown with restraint, allowing subtle variations in thickness and line to remain as traces of hand and process. A spontaneous, kiln-influenced mark moves across the pale surface through natural glazing and extended wood firing, where ash movement and kiln atmosphere gently shape the final character. Crafted in stoneware and fired patiently, the cup develops tactile depth shaped by flame and time rather than uniform finish. Intended for tea, coffee, or mindful sipping, the form brings warmth, durability, and a calm presence to everyday rituals.

Process & Craft
Each cup is handmade by master craftspeople using traditional studio pottery methods, beginning with wheel-thrown forms shaped from unique clay mixes prepared in-house. Natural, mineral-rich glazes are applied by hand, drawing from Japanese Mingei and Korean Buncheong influences that guide the studio’s design sensibility. Fired at nearly 1300°C, the stoneware develops remarkable strength and a glaze surface shaped by the dynamic play of fire, ash, and high-temperature reactions inside the kiln. Every piece is quietly distinct — a reflection of the kiln’s temperament, the hands that shaped it, and the experienced designers who curate its final aesthetic.
Sustainability Practices
Made in serene, low-waste pottery studios that prioritize mindful production. All materials used — clays, glazes, oxides — are natural and non-toxic. High-temperature firing ensures long product life, reducing breakage and replacement cycles. Crafted in small batches to support ethical production and minimize overconsumption. Each mug embodies a slow craft philosophy, valuing longevity over mass production.
